The Chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement met with students in the project “Meet Employer”

On February 16, 2018, the Chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia Ioseb Baghaturia and Deputy Chairman Mr. Mirian Kharabadze met with students and professors at the Faculty of Law and International Relations of Georgian Technical University. The event was opened by dean of Faculty of Law and International Relations of Georgian Technical University, Professor Irakli Gabisonia, who underlined the need to listen to the recommendations of the Practitioners in Accreditation and Authorization and to reflect their advice and opinions in the study programs and Syllabus. The meeting was chaired by the GTU’s Speaker of the Representative Council Professor Jemal Gakhokidze, who asked the Chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement to make a small report to the students. The chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement said, that it is very important for his department to establish a solid relationship with students and educational institutions, and therefore welcomes the faculty organized the project “Meet the employer”.

The Chairman emphasized the draft law on the Enforcement Code and implemented or future reforms. Ekaterine Akhalkatsi, lawyer for the National Bureau of Enforcement made a presentation, which introduced students the general provisions regarding the enforcement system, aspects related to debtors’ registry and private enforcement, and also, focused on the electronic auction and simplified production. The chairman of the National Bureau of Enforcement declared a proposal on the faculty to study “Enforcement Law”, which give students an opportunity to acquire the issues related to the enforcement process. Also, the chairman focused on the employment and internship in the enforcement bureau, urged students to use the opportunity to apply for the bureau’s application, for that they will employ in the future. The meeting envisaged a question-answer regime that students used as much as possible and asked questions about enforcement mechanisms, production, debt obligations, electronic auctions and other issues. The meeting was summarized by Professor Jemal Gakhokidze, speaker of Georgian Technical University, who thanked the Chairman of the Bureau for her arrival and evaluated the execution system in Georgia with a few words.

Master’s Educational Program “International Relations”  

 

The modern world of the integration processes and the most difficult challenges in the field of international relations has great importance of upbringing professional specialists and as well as a new generation. Such specialists will be able to study and analyze modern international problems in the context of international studies and research these problems using advanced scientific methodology and interdisciplinary approaches. The program encourages the dissemination of Western and liberal values ​​in young people, which has never been historically for Georgians. The Masters Degree Program in International Relations is designed to provide the most comprehensive knowledge of the student in international relations research theories, theories and subdivisions in order to prepare practical activities on one hand and on the other side to pursue doctoral programs. This master program provides and develops students extensive and at the same time specific knowledge of international relations in certain specialties. Students develop high-level research skills, learn how to analyze problems both in theoretical and practical level. The program enables students to expand the theoretical perspective, develop and improve the research, analysis and interpretation of international relations, acquire independent research habits.

The graduates of the program will have depth knowledge of international relations theories and practical skills; Deep and systemic knowledge of the importance of Georgia and the Caucasus region in international and European politics; Analyze the essence of globalization, the processes, the need to maintain their respect for Georgian reality and the preservation of cultural values; Deep and systemic knowledge of the main issues of international institutions; Ability to solve problems existing in politics, elaboration of alternatives and including the ability to select the best one among them; Ability to analyze influences on political systems of different economic and social processes; Have the ability to gather data, analyze and result in a reasonable conclusion using modern research methods in social sciences; Be able to write scientific letters and articles on topical issues in the field of international relations; Establishing grounded conclusions about ongoing political and socio-cultural processes; Can independently plan and extend knowledge based on the latest techniques in the relevant sphere through general analysis of primary sources, scientific literature and empirical experience; will have ability to develop adaptation and tolerance dependence in multicultural environment; the ability to evaluate the attitude of others and the dependence on the values of international relations and the ability to contribute to the establishment

of new values, knowledge of scientific ethics.

Bachelor’s Educational Program – “International Relations”

The aim of the program is to prepare specialists with broad theoretical and practical skills in the area of institutional, economic, political processes, diplomatic and political relations in the system of international relations.

The program will give graduates the scientific and practical skills needed to evaluate and analyze the processes in international relations. It will provide in-depth knowledge on disciplines of specialty, such as foreign policy, international law, international organizations, globalization, conflicting, negotiations, etc.

The program develops for students research and critical evaluation skills on the aspects and issues of global policy such as establishing order in the anarchic international system by the development of international institutions, regimes, law and norms, fair use of force in international politics, transnational terrorism, anti-terrorism efforts, etc.

The graduator’s of programs will have: theoretical, conceptual and historical knowledge in the global policy and its neighboring disciplines; The impact of global politics on the various aspects of local politics and its role in the development of the country, as well as the importance of international cooperation in democratic processes and the interconnection of international relations with other social sciences will be understood; The ability to develop and realize their capabilities in a competitive environment in the practical work, based on the modern approach of international relations, analyzes and assesses various issues, as well as promoting the requirements defined by professional, ethical and legal (both local and international) norms.
